Operator needed dissolvable frac plugs to reliably hold pressure and then predictably dissolve in its multi-stage completion to de-risk weather impacts and inflationary pressures of operating on the north slope of Alaska.

After verifying dissolvability in the customer’s frac fluid, Shale Oil Tool’s dissolvable frac plugs were selected to complete its 40-stage lateral. Wells were successfully frac’d and the well produced without a clean-out trip. Well production exceeded expectations.

Shale Oil Tools Model 7501TM dissolvable frac plugs delivered two-fold value. Primarily, they reliably held the clients frac pressure ensuring the formation was properly stimulated. Secondarily, but just as valuable, the plugs dissolved as predicted allowing the operator to eliminate the expense of a mill out trip and allowed them to get the well in production during the summer operational window on the north slope.
